This empowering online course is designed to help girls unlock the confidence, poise, and presence they need to speak with courage - whether in front of a classroom, a group of friends, or on a stage.
Girl Scouts are invited to join communications expert and speaker, Ms. Jennifer Furlong, for this exciting Public Speaker course! During this course, participants will practice reading fun short stories aloud, learn about the importance of body language through activities, get silly with some tongue twisters, and finally, shine in the spotlight by writing and delivering a speech they're passionate about!
Through fun, interactive modules, participants will:
Learn simple techniques to overcome nerves and speak with clarity.
Practice storytelling and persuasive speaking in a supportive, encouraging environment.
