Mechanical engineering encourages children to think critically and solve problems. They learn to identify challenges, brainstorm solutions, and test their ideas, which helps develop their analytical and reasoning skills.
Daisy Girl Scouts can earn all three Daisy Mechanical Engineering badges: Board Game Design Challenge, Roller Coaster Design Challenge, and Model Car Design Challenge!
Badge kits include instructions for assembly and all materials needed to build the following projects: Balloon Car, Balance Car, and Basketball Game. Girl Scouts will use the mechanical engineering skills learned within the on-demand course to complete the badge kit builds.
