Become an Electrical Engineer

Juniors and Cadettes, join us on July 12th at 5pm Eastern!

Have you ever wondered why your lights flicker during a storm? Have you noticed an electrical substation near your neighborhood? Learn how electricity impacts your daily life during this live Zoom workshop.

Girl Scouts will work with a professional electrical engineer (Wheeler) and Ms. Hannah (who also was a former electrician’s apprentice) to learn about how electricity impacts their lives. Girl Scouts will act as members of an electrical engineering team to solve common electrical problems during this workshop.

This workshop is open to Junior and Cadette Girl Scouts. Girl Scouts will earn the STEM Career Exploration badge. The workshop will be held live using Zoom.
